Family Trip

The Payne family took their first big trip. A five hour drive to Cape Cod seemed a bit ambitious but Tristan slept most of the way...requesting one feeding somewhere in Rhode Island.

Cape Cod is now the year round home of friend's Dorothy and Jimmy.

Tristan's new friend

Donny and Susan, Jen and Tom's good friends, just had a baby girl. You can see pictures of "Ashley Hoiying" at their blog...

The Yankees are in last place?!....waaaaaaaa!

Tristan was not happy to hear the the Yankees were tied for last place.

He calmed down when his dad explained that the Yankees need some pressure in order to excel. Already, they have come out of sole possession of last place and have moved up to a tie for last. It's only up from here. (Don't let him know that the Red Sox are in first place...)

Tristan's First Birthday

OK, so it wasn't Tristan's "first" birthday, but it was the first time Tristan was at a birthday party. And this time it was for his "aunt" Patty. Friend Rob and Jeanette through Patty a party and Jen, Tom and Tristan crashed it at the last minute.

Boru is adjusting

For those interested, it appears that Boru is adjusting well to the changes in his world. While his sleep deprived parents he may be offering a little less attention, Boru seems to have adopted Tristan as a brother...or at least a ward.

And there are some benefits to Tristan's arrival...

Sleep becomes a scare commodity

When Tristran first came home, he was fed at midnight, 3am and 8am and he pretty much slept inbetween. Last night, he was *UP* from 11pm to 3:30am, seemingly struggling with a bought of gas. Eventually, poor Tristan slept until 8:30am and his dazed parents slept with him.
